Putting the 'student' in student-athlete

海外直播b站 has broken its own record for success in the Royal Bank Academic All-Canadian competition. 海外直播b站 had earlier tallied 114 All-Canadians in one year, but was home to 132 top student-athletes in Canadian Interuniversity Sport in 2001-2002.

The 132 海外直播b站 athletes who qualified for the 2001-2002 RBC Academic All-Canadian honour roll included 73 women and 59 men. The breakdown by faculty is as follows: 34 in Science, 27 in Arts, 24 in Education, 15 in Management, 14 in Engineering, three in Physical & Occupational Therapy, three in Medicine, two each in Biomedical Engineering and Law, plus one apiece from Experimental Medicine, Architecture, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Kinesiology, Music, Nursing, Pharmacology, and Religious Studies.

The breakdown by class: 29 freshmen, 26 sophomores, 33 juniors and 44 seniors (including graduate students). The geographical breakdown by residence: 50 from Quebec, 36 from Ontario, 11 from British Columbia, 10 from Alberta, five each from New Brunswick and Massachusetts, three from Nova Scotia, two each from Saskatchewan, California and Connecticut, plus one apiece from New York, Virginia, Maine, Hawaii, Austria and Jamaica.

The student-athletes came from several sports, including Basketball (four women, four men), Field Hockey (11 women), Football (7), Hockey (6 women, 7 men), Rugby (8 women), Soccer (6 women, 10 men), Swimming (10 women, 12 men), Track & Cross-country (17 women, 10 men), Volleyball (9 women, 5 men), Wrestling (2 women, 4 men).
