The new Graduate Certificate in Business Management focuses on fundamental subjects such as accounting, business economics, and marketing, and reflects the latest trends and new business models. Also, in response to the industry's current demand for agile project management, a brand new course has been proposed to complement the program. The agile approach aims to enhance project delivery, reduce risk, and improve quality when dealing with undefined projects and ever-changing requirements.

Moreover, the program offers participants the flexibility to select additional complementary courses, including traditional project management, organizational behaviour, communication and presentation skills, and business law. Delivery Format and Schedule

The program has been designed for in-person delivery, a process that º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾ SCS believes to provide a comprehensive and rewarding classroom experience, complimented by extensive interaction between learners and faculty who are practitioners in various fields of management. The program is anchored in experiential learning, one that provides learners with the opportunity to work with peers and develop leadership skills. Intensive case studies and technical simulation activities round out the learning experience.

The program is delivered at the downtown campus of º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾ in the evenings, from Monday through Thursday, from 6 to 9 p.m. Some courses may be delivered on Saturdays during the day between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Admission Requirements

  1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an approved university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.2/4.0 in the last two years of full-time academic studies.

    * If your CGPA is lower than the above requirement, please submit the following for consideration with your application and official transcript.

    a) Letter of Intent: A letter, one to two pages in length, single-spaced, written in English or French, which addresses the following:

    • basis for interest in the program;
    • your knowledge that would be pertinent to the program;
    • your interest in the field of study and the reasons for applying to our program;
    • plans for integrating the training into your current or future career;
    • a description of your professional experience and its relevance, if applicable, to the program;
    • awards received or other contributions;
    • any additional information relevant to your application.

    b) Curriculum Vitae

    c) Two Letters of Reference:ÌýAt least one should be from a current or former employer.

  2. Applicants must provide proof of English Language proficiency.

Established in 2017 by the Area Coordinator and a group of lecturers in the General Management, International Business and Entrepreneurship Area in the School of Continuing Studies for one or more undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship, Business Management, or International Business programs. Awarded by the School of Continuing Studies on the basis of academic merit or on the basis of demonstrated financial need and good academic standing.
