My research focuses on the management of pelvic floor disorders. I am investigating different surgical techniques for the management of apical prolapse and studying decision- making needs of patients with urinary incontinence with the intent of developing patient decision aids, as well as the use of patient-centred outcome measures in clinical practice perioperatively.聽

Dr. Maryse Larouche is the Academic Director of the Division of Urogynecology, and Assistant Professor at 海外直播b站. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from 海外直播b站 in 2009. This was followed by her Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency at 海外直播b站, during which she received the Award for Excellence as a Resident Role Model. She completed a 2-year Fellowship in Urogynaecology / Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, as well as a Masters of Public Health degree, at the University of California, Berkeley, CA. Dr. Larouche practices as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and Urogynecologist at St. Mary鈥檚 Hospital, and also sees pregnancies and consultations at the ELNA D茅carie Medical Clinic. Dr. Maryse Larouche leads urogynecology research at 海外直播b站, and received the Clinician-Scientist Salary Award from the St. Mary鈥檚 Research Centre 2019-2022. She is actively involved in academics through supervising trainees鈥� research, as well as in clinical teaching of students, residents, and fellows.聽
