Efe Atabay received his BA in History and Political Science and his MA in Islamic Studies from º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾. In the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy, he has worked as a member of the WoRLD policy analysis team helping conceptualize and build social policy databases on topics including poverty reduction, adult labour policies and constitutional rights; and as a member of the MACHEquity research project preparing similar databases that cover historical data points. Currently, he is responsible for the development of a longitudinal database on the state of social policies around the world as well as providing research support to a multinational team of researchers and partners.
Ilona Vincent is an Academic Associate in the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy currently involved with the PROSPERED project. She is responsible for the development and management of longitudinal databases on the state of social policies around the world as well as for providing research support to a multinational team of researchers and partners on the project. Ilona received her BA in International Development from the University of Guelph and her MA in Economics from Queen’s University. Before joining the Institute for Health and Social Policy (now DEEP) in 2008 she worked for the Chicago Public Schools’ Department of Postsecondary Education participating in research on the educational achievements of Chicago high school students, the evaluation of a college preparatory program implemented in a large urban district as well as the development of a new student tracking system. Ilona has also done consulting work in the areas of health, energy and labour economics. Her research interests include the impact of social policy on population health and education outcomes.Â
