The in-person Poster Fair and Keynote Lecture are fully booked. Only guests with confirmed in-person registrations will be admitted due to limited room capacity. Confirmation emails were sent upon registration, with a reminder email sent on November 19th. Those who did not register can still . A recording will be made available for 24 hours after the event.
This year鈥檚 keynote speaker is Dr. Oni Blackstock, MD, MHS, a renowned primary care and HIV physician recognized as a thought leader in HIV and health equity. Dr. Blackstock is the founder and Executive Director of , a consulting firm that helps health-related organizations centre anti-racism and equity in the workplace while addressing health inequities in the communities they serve. Dr. Blackstock's keynote address is titled "Uprooting Health Inequities: Advancing Inclusive and Participatory Approaches to Clinical Research and Public Health."

Join us at Global Health Night for our annual Student Poster Fair鈥攁 chance for students and residents to showcase their global health work and network with peers and faculty working in global health.
About our Keynote Speaker
Dr. Oni Blackstock, MD, MHS, is the founder and Executive Director of Health Justice, a highly regarded consulting firm that supports health-related organizations in centering anti-racism and equity in the workplace, while addressing health inequities in the communities they serve. She is a board-certified primary care and HIV physician, as well as a trained researcher. Her career spans clinical practice, research, public health, and advocacy.
Dr. Blackstock鈥檚 groundbreaking research has illuminated the intersection of race, gender, and HIV, and has emphasized the need to disrupt systemic barriers that perpetuate health inequities. She is a thought leader in HIV and health equity, recognized for her dedicated work advocating for equitable healthcare practices. Her advocacy work has influenced policies and programs that prioritize marginalized communities, informed by her own experience navigating multiple marginalized identities.
Before founding Health Justice, Dr. Blackstock served as Assistant Commissioner for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she led the Bureau of HIV. During her tenure, she oversaw New York City's globally recognized HIV epidemic response, and established the first Bureau-based Racial Equity and Social Justice program within the Health Department. Dr. Blackstock also held an Assistant Professor position at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she provided clinical care and conducted research funded by the NIH and CDC. Dr. Blackstock holds degrees from Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, and Yale School of Medicine.
