Ensuring Adequate Financial Support for Postdocs

Adequate financial support is required for postdoctoral registration and must be maintained for the duration of the postdoctoral appointment at the university. Postdoctoral stipend support can be assembled from various sources (external or internal). Postdocs can secure funding themselves from external funding agencies or fellowship programs, or may be offered funding from their supervisor’s grant or research resources. The source of funding determines the postdoctoral status (Postdoctoral Fellow – Group A, Postdoctoral Scholar – Group B, or Postdoctoral Researcher – Group C). For more information, please review the categories of postdoc at º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾.
