Management for Science Students

The Desautels Faculty of Management offers four minor programs for non-Management students open for application to students in the Faculty of Science. Please refer to Desautels Faculty of Management > Undergraduate > Overview of Programs Offered by the Desautels Faculty of Management > Minors for Non-Management Students for detailed information about program requirements and applying.

Also available to Science students is the Minor in Entrepreneurship for Science students; see Entrepreneurship for Science Students. Students in this Minor are not permitted to take the Desautels Minors in Finance, Management, Marketing, or Operations Management (for Non-Management students).

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Minor Finance (For Non-Management Students) (18 credits)

The Minor Finance consists of 18 credits of Management courses and is offered to non-Management students in the Faculties of Arts, Engineering, and Science. The Minor has been designed to provide students with an understanding of the key concepts in corporate finance as well as investment banking.
