Our MBA students can access many funding options, including merit-based scholarships and awards.Ìý All students are automatically considered for awards unless otherwise noted.Ìý Unless indicated, all awards are granted by the MBA Scholarships Committee.
The Adam Dinkes MBA Leadership Award, established in 2015 by Adam Dinkes, MBA 2000, to support outstanding students entering or enrolled in the MBA Program in the Desautels Faculty of Management. Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills. Preference will be given to international students with an interest in entrepreneurship.

The J. Keith Drysdale MBA Fellowship, established in 2004 by Donna Drysdale, B. Ed. 1959, in honour of her beloved late husband, J. Keith Drysdale, B.Sc. 1960, M.B.A. 1966, and his esteemed career in logistics and materials management. The Nova Steel Award, established in 2021 by Scott B. Jones, MBA 1991, to support outstanding graduate students entering or enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the Desautels Faculty of Management. The Roger C. Bennett Prize in Marketing, established in 1999 with the support of friends and family of the late Roger C. Bennett, distinguished Professor of Marketing (Desautels Faculty of Management), who had a zest for life. The Dr. Peter Briant Award for Entrepreneurship, established by Seymour Schulich in memory of Professor Peter Briant, a teacher and mentor to many in the Desautels Faculty of Management. Awarded to Canadian students in the first year of the full-time MBA program by the Desautels Faculty of Management. This award will be granted on the basis of entrepreneurial experience, potential and general scholastic ability. Candidates must submit an application, a statement providing evidence of entrepreneurial potential, a curriculum vitae and financial form.

The Edward Ballon Award in Management, established in 1998 by the John Dobson Foundation in honour of Edward M. Ballon, B.A. 1947, a distinguished graduate who, while a student at º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾, was captain of the º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾ Track Team, President of the Students' Society of º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾ and President of the Students Athletics Council. He later became President of the º£ÍâÖ±²¥bÕ¾ Graduate Society and a member of the Board of Governors of the University. Awarded by the Desautels Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee to a full-time student entering the MBA program on the basis of high academic standing, demonstrated leadership skills through involvement in extra-curricular activities and participation in a competitive sport. The Paul Marcus Pugh MBA Leadership Award, established in 2019 by Paul Marcus Pugh, BSc 1967, MBA 1971, to support an outstanding female student entering or enrolled in the MBA Program in the Desautels Faculty of Management. The Rio Tinto - Richard Evans Graduate Fellowships, awarded on the basis of academic merit to any Masters student in a management degree program that may be applicable to the mining and metals industry, and Ph.D. students pursuing studies directly related to mining and metallurgy, including industrial operations, operations and technology management, and sustainable development. Preference will be given to students with financial needs, those from developing countries and those who have lived and/or worked in remote regions. Those selected should embody the leadership values of personal responsibility, integrity, accountability and mutual respect.

The Sheila Wellington BMO Financial Group Award, established by the Bank of Montreal. Awarded to a full-time student, specializing in Finance, in their second year of the MBA program. Preference is given to female applicants.

The Sujata Madan Award, established in 2021 by friends and former students, in honor of Professor Sujata Madan.
